Mike Pauly, Melbourne to Perth
StartFragment
The Naracoorte Shedders arranged an extra nights accommodation for Mike in one of the cabins within the caravan park.
Although maybe not 5 star it was luxury for Mike, having shower and toilet facilities at easy access.
He has had ample opportunity to catch up on some sleep and rest his legs.
With this break he has been able to cut back on his medication.
His legs are OK for the moment but they have a mind of their own and when they decide to annoy him there is not much that can be done.
Shed Chairman, Ken Schultz, arranged for Mike to meet with the Council Mayor, who is fully supportive of the Mens Shed.
The Shed has a site picked out and funding is well on the way, read it here
He did visit their new site for some photos to be taken so I hope we get some of them.
Mike also had a newspaper interview, yes another one, and when he receives it he will pass it on.
Not the best of days for serious walking with the forecast maximum being mid to high 30’s, thirsty work.
Next stop is Padthaway , a well known wine producing region which is about 41 km from his current location.
At the moment he is here and he may be having a rest as he is pushing into a headwind.
